The 31st Annual Taste of Sonoma at MacMurray Ranch (September 4, 2010) is a favorite of Bay Area wine lovers who enjoy seeing more than 150 wineries and 60 local chefs do their stuff. But the $150 entrance fee can pinch the budget a bit. Quick, check your Visa Card and see if it says the word “Signature” on it. If so, you can save $55 on general admission tickets. (Sonoma County locals who act fast can get locals discount tickets.)
The discount tickets at $95 are still not cheap, but many say Taste of Sonoma is worth every penny. Celebrated Living magazine called the event one of the 10 Best Wine and Food Events in the country. The Saturday festivities are part of a three day weekend series of events that includes the Sonoma Valley Harvest Wine Auction and Winemaker Lunch and Dinner Series.
