The Sonoma County Fair (July 27 – August 14, 2011) celebrates its 75th Anniversary this year with wine country racing, headline entertainment, spectacular carnival rides, junior and professional livestock shows and so much more. The Hall of Flowers features a tribute to the ‘best of the best’ Flower Shows from past years. Free entertainment will include an old-style vaudeville show, turkey races and lots more.

- Food Bank Fridays: Bring 2 cans (or bags or boxes) of nonperishable food for the Redwood Empire Food Bank and get $2 off on general Fair admission! Limit: 1 discount/person. Join KRSH at Food Bank Fridays outside the Brookwood Gate July 29, August 5 and August 12!
- 2 for 1 Tuesdays: Buy one Fair General Admission and get one free every Tuesday before 5:00 pm.
- Seniors: Admission is free on Wednesdays if you’re age 60 or older. FREE Fair General Admission every day for anyone 75 years old in 2011! (must show ID).
- Children: Kids (6 and younger) free every day. Kids (7 – 12) free on Thursdays.

- Pay-One-Price Days: Get a wristband to ride unlimited rides Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. You can use a Carnival Pre-Sale Coupon or purchase a wristband for $25.
- Choose Your Discount on Friday: On Fridays only, get a wristband to ride unlimited rides from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. – or from 5 – 11 p.m. for just $20.
- Hero Days Monday – Friday only. Every weekday is Carnival Appreciation Day for police, firefighters and active-duty military personnel. Details on the Fair website.
- Senior Day on the Midway: Wednesdays only. Free carousel and Ferris wheel rides for seniors until 4 pm on Wednesdays.
- Special Grandparent/Grandchild Day: Wednesday, August 10 only. Seniors ride for free when accompanied by a paying Grandchild in the Kiddie Carnival area until 6 pm.
