Silicon Valley Restaurant Week – Dining Discounts
Dining at home to save money? Well done. But this week is the new Silicon Valley Restaurant Week, so you might want to reconsider. From now until next Wednesday, 90 South Bay restaurants will do their best to lure you back in with a discounted price. I say let them. For the fixed price of $35, you can dine out “on the cheap” and in style any night for the next 7 days.
According to an October 14, 2009 NBC Bay Area article:
“While the Silicon Valley financial sector may be outperforming most of the country, South Bay restaurants are still hoping to convince more hungry workers to let them cook for them.”
The long list of participating restaurants includes some South Bay favorites like Morton’s The Steakhouse in San Jose, Zitune in Los Altos, Olio in Campbell, Coconut Caribbean in Palo Alto, Left Bank in Menlo Park, Sent Sovi in Saratoga, Wine Cellar Restaurant in Los Gatos, Quattro in E. Palo Alto, La Tosca in San Carlos, and a bunch more.
DEAL: Get a three-course meal at 90 participating South Bay restaurants for the fixed price of $35.
HOW: Book a table via Open Table.
WHEN: Silicon Valley Restaurant Week runs October 14-21, 2009. That’s now through next Wednesday and more information and a full list of restaurants can be found online.
WHERE: Full list of East Bay area restaurants HERE.
TIP: Book your reservations at Silicon Valley Restaurant Week restaurants now before the key time slots sell out.
