I am a fan of kendall jackson. I don’t have alot of wine experience and this trip would be a great way to learn and share the fun with others!
Kendall Jackson!!
Beer drinker, but the fiance and i are learning everything we can about wine and trying to have a blast doing it as inexpensively as possible. We had a great time at both Gundlach-Bundschu and Chateau St. Jean. She has a born Zinfandel palette, while I enjoy a Pinot.
I love Wineries, what better thing to do on a weekend but to go Wine tasting!
Cakebread…
Blackstone!
we liked Castle Vineyards
Ravenswood!
Would like to try Chateau St. Jean someday.
Too many wineries, so little time!!
1. Paradise Ridge Winery in Kenwood (a bit hidden, but a nice wine tasting room. wanted to try their sparkling wines, but they were all sold out!!)
2. Simi WInery in Healdsburg (love the forest/woods-like setting and try their riesling in a chocolate cup!!)
3. Ledson Winery in Kenwood (beautiful mansion/castle and setting. enjoyed their petite sirah!)
Gundlach Bundschu Cabernet Sauvignon!!!
Blackstone is my favorite definately

We love Landmark – especially their Chardonnay!
P.S. Cakebread is in Napa Valley.
Kendall Jackson – Late Harvest Chardonnay
Our family enjoyed a fabulous wine and food pairing at the Kendall Jackson Estates ( a surprise bday I planned for my father).
After the fabulous tasting, we enjoyed a beautiful tour by a very knowledgeable and friendly host. A most wonderful time!
Ridge!
Ravenswood is sooo good
Port at Raymond Burr is BEST I have ever had!! Also, Stryker in Alexander Valley and Gary Ferrell in Dry Creek.

A couple of my favorite wineries are Gundlach Bundschu and Bartholomew.
Haven’t been to Sonoma wineries, but would love to try cakebread.
Chateau St. Jean! Try their chardonnay!
Have to agree with Castle Wineries.
Benziger is delish! A cooled cab sav on a warm summer eve … yum!
Deerfield Ranch Winery is my new favorite. Last time I was in Sonoma, I had great wines here and space is just so nice.

Gary Farrell Wines… great wine, great location!
Blackstone is the my favorite Sonoma Valley wine.
Ledson Winery
Another vote for Eric Ross…so much fun to talk photography and art, while sipping and tasting and laughing at dirty jokes. Cool, without being pretentious.
I’ve never had a wine I didn’t like from The Davis Family in Healdsburg! Friendly, family run business, beautiful wine counter, bocce ball + right on the river! The zins are to die for!
See if you agree with the “Best of the Vintage” from Wine Enthusiast for Eric Ross 08 Marsanne? Barrel samples for Savor Sonoma, Saralee’s Vineyard Pinot and a WOW Tempranillo!

Definitely Blackstone!
Going out to Korbel was a really neat area. Only wish I could have stopped at more of the wineries down River road.
A. Rafanelli’s zinfandel has never left me disappointed. But then again, it’s hard go wrong with a zin from Dry Creek Valley.
Last year at barrel tasting we took some epic pictures in the sunshine with our wine glasses, blooming cherry blossoms and the vineyards lined with mustard. How can that combo go wrong? Hoping for the same this weekend.
Castle Vineyards!
In Sonoma Valley, we love Chateau St. Jean!
Ravenswood!!
cakebread
Castle Vineyards!
I love to visit Ledson because the beautiful setting is always impressive to guests. I especially like the Ledson Pinot Noir.
Castle Vineyards ;P
As a beer drinker, my favorite “whine” is where I ask about going to one of the areas fantastic breweries. (cue high hat.)
all jokes aside, I concur with a previous poster– I’ve been to Gundlach Bundschu and it was excellent.
Cakebread Cellars is a favorite for sure.
Beaulieu Vineyards. My dad went there about 30 years ago and told me to stop by when I moved out here and their Cabernet is just as awesome as he remembered.
So hard to choose! Really enjoyed the tour at Benzinger and the sparklings at Gloria Ferrer.
Cline Cellars! We stumbled upon them quite by accident a couple of years ago and now make it a point to picnic there regularly. They’ve got a killer Mourvedre.
I love Trione. Great wines, beautiful view, and very friendly and attentive people at the winery
I love valley of the moon wines!!
I like Fox Brook Winery.
Castle wineries
It is hard to pick. For the actual wine, I love Benziger. In terms of visiting a winery/tasting room, Ledson is always fun.
Thanks for a great contest!

2. on my last birthday, my boyfriend and friends planned a surprise: they told me to leave my Saturday open and gave me a dress code. then we drove off and ended up at Robert Mondavi for my first wine-tasting tour.
Haven’t been to very many Sonoma wineries, but we did like Gundlach Bundschu Winery..
