The South Bay’s 2009 Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival, in Central Park, will feature the talents of local and regional artists with nearly 175 booths to visit, 25 community groups serving international foods, food vintners pouring fine wines, micro-brewed beer, live entertainment on three stages, and the ever-popular Kids Kingdom. More than 50,000 people from Santa Clara and the surrounding communities are expected to attend the two-day event.
New this year: “BIKE TO THE FESTIVAL”…..free bicycle watch provided near Kids Kingdom.
The Bike Watch location is in the park, adjacent to the creek at the Arbor bridge. The booth is manned by local Boy Scout troop #14 and is free (they’ll also watch skateboards and roller blades!)
