Music in the Park, at Plaza de Cesar Chavez, San Jose, which runs on Thursday evenings (June 2 – August 25, 2011), is a free and family friendly searies of concerts in the South Bay. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. If you like raffles, you can enter one each week to win fun prizes.

SAVVY SUGGESTION: Find cheap parking ($4) after 6 pm at the garages at Third Street near Santa Clara Street, and at Market and San Pedro Streets. Public lots near the park also offer affordable parking after 6 pm.
