The San Jose Cinco de Mayo Parade & Festival usually takes place on the first Sunday in May. We have received no info on the 2011 event but when we do we will post it here. Here’s the info from last year’s event:
The American GI Forum, a Hispanic veterans group, says it can no longer afford the May 5 celebration of Mexican-American pride that has had a nearly three-decade run in the city.

WHERE: Downtown San Jose, CA. Parade begins on Santa Clara & Market Streets, and flow up Market to San Carlos. Festival at Discovery Meadows on the corner of Woz Way and San Carlos.
