Here’s how to get San Francisco Zoo discounts (as promised). First, did you know there is a Free Day for San Francisco residents? If you don’t want to fight the crowds on free days, you can print a coupon for one free child admission.

DEAL 1: If you’re a San Francisco Local, admission to the Zoo is free on the first Wednesday of every month. Just show proof of residency through a valid driver license, ID card or utility, phone or other local bill with your home address.

• Adults 15-64:  $12 (reg $15)
• Seniors 65 and over:  $7.50 (reg $12)
• Children 4-14:  $5.50 (reg $9)
• Children 3 and under:  Always Free

DEAL 2: Buy tickets here and get a small discount on any day at any time off the gate price.

DEAL 3: One free child admission with one paid adult admission. Print this coupon, good through 12/31/09.

DEAL 4: If you’re a AAA member, you can get one free child admission (age 4 – 14), a savings of $9, with each full-price adult admission. To get the discount (when available), use your AAA card number when you order.

DEAL 5: Military and/or Disabled rates are the same as San Francisco Resident Rates (see DEAL 1) but not the Free days.
