The annual San Francisco Theater Festival (Sunday, August 7, 2011) is the largest theater event of the year. The event is a free massive celebration of live theater centered in a new San Francisco venue this year, Fort Mason Center.
The SF Theater Festival features more than 100 shows in more than a dozen indoor and outdoor venues, including many shows created especially for children 12 and younger.
WHAT’S THE DEAL: The San Francisco Theater Festival is FREE.
WHEN: Sunday, August 7, 2011, 11am – 5 pm.
WHERE: Fort Mason Center, at Buchanan Street and Marina Boulevard, San Francisco, CA 94123. (Other venue info to come.)
SAVVY TIPS: You can find a cheap parking spot on the Fort Mason Center campus (and the first half hour is always free). Bike racks are located on the south side of Building B and in front of Buildings C and D.
