The San Anselmo Art & Wine Festival is a free event that takes place the weekend of July 16 – 17, 2011. The theme of the 2011 festival is “Hippy Hippy Shake” and features the music of the ’60s and ’70s with local bands such as the Sun Kings, California Dreaming, Cover Girlzz, and more.
“Voted ‘Best Local Festival’ by the North Bay Bohemian and ‘Best Town-Wide Festival’ by the Pacific Sun, San Anselmo’s premier event features 200 juried artists from across the United States, gourmet-food booths, live entertainment by top Bay Area musicians, and a large family area with rides and arts-and-crafts activities.”
