Treasure Island Sailing Center invites everyone to a 2011 Opening Day Celebration on Saturday, April 30, 2011. This is a day of free sailboat and kayak rides, family fun, barbecue, games and live music. All visitors receive FREE cheese tasting from Cowgirl Creamery and FREE wine tasting at TI Wines after your sail.
Even if you don’t think sailing is in your budget, you can join in the celebration of Northern California’s opening day for sailing. And you won’t have to spend a penny to check out new outdoor equipment, like kayaks, windsurfing gear, and stand up paddle boards–unless you get hooked on a new sport, that is.
“The Treasure Island Sailing Center is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to improve our community and the sport of sailing by providing access, facilities, and sailing instruction to people of all socioeconomic backgrounds, skill levels, and physical abilities.“
