PIER 39 Tulipmania returns to Pier 39 in February 2010. This free floral event features a lush display of colorful tulips on both levels of PIER 39. You can also join one of the free guided tulip tours. The tulip tour guides will point out the many tulip varieties such as Apricot Beauties, Texas Flames, Purple Princes, Flaming Parrots, Swan Wings, Burgundy Lace and more, as you stroll around the grounds. The tulip plantings are often topped with winter vegetables, such as lettuce, parsley, celery and red chard. Each tour culminates with complimentary refreshments. Bring a camera.

WHAT’S THE DEAL: Tulipmania is FREE, including the guided tulip tours that leave from the Entrance Plaza at 10am daily.
