Pacifica Fog Fest & Parade – Free

fog festThe Pacifica Fog Fest (September 24-25, 2011) will feature the Discover Pacifica Parade, a Sand Castle, and Sand Sculpture Contest, a Fog Jog, and the Fog Bank Contest where entrants stop by their local bank to guess the number of cotton balls in this year’s Fog Bank. Winners at each bank are awarded a $50 cash prize. The Fog Fest Photo Contest features photos taken this year that best capture Pacifica through its people, scenery, or history.

The Fog Fest also features music from 24 bands on three stages, unique arts and crafts displayed by Bay area artisans, plenty of festival food and fun for kids.

WHAT’S THE DEAL: The 2011 Pacifica Fog Fest is Free.

WHEN: September 24-25, 2011, 10am – 6pm. Parade Saturday morning 10am.

WHERE: On the south end of Palmetto Avenue (between Shell Street and Montecito Streets), Pacifica, CA.

CHEAP TIP: Park for free around Francisco and Oceana Boulevards and other side streets. Or, for a $7 donation you can park at the north end of Palmetto Ave (at Highway 1), and at the south end of Palmetto (near the golf course).
