San Francisco’s North Beach Festival (June 16 – 17, 2012) is a free event that presents an interesting array of juried arts and crafts exhibits and art for sale, all with an Italian flavor and flair.
“The 2011 event will feature more than 125 arts and crafts booths, 20 gourmet food booths, three stages of live entertainment, Italian street painting, beverage gardens, children’s activities and the blessing of the animals.”
DEAL: North Beach Festival 2012 is FREE.
WHEN: June 16 – 17, 2012, 10 am to 6 pm.
WHERE: Washington Square Park, 1200-1500 blocks of Grant Avenue and adjacent streets in the North Beach district, San Francisco.
SAVVY TIP: Parking is available at 735 Vallejo (south side of street) between Stockton and Powell, 766 Vallejo (north side of street above Central Station) between Stockton and Powell and on Filbert between Columbus and Mason.
