Napa Downtown Chefs’ Market

Farmer’s Markets are starting up again all around the Bay Area and Napa Valley is no exception. But Napa Valley also has the Downtown Chefs’ Market on Thursday nights, starting May 20, 2010. At the Chef’s Market, you can shop for fresh produce and sample fabulous food from some of the best chefs in the country. And all this eating, drinking, and shopping goes on to live music.

“Even casual foodies will enjoy the two nightly cooking demonstrations at 6:30 and 7:30 each night, which are hosted by Anne Baker, former pastry chef for Mustards Grill. Baker lines up two chefs each night, and both pair their offerings with wine from a downtown tasting room. Samples of food and wine are free to all watching.”
