Martinez Holiday Light Parade & Snow Park
Downtown Martinez will go winter white one weekend only in December — with their Holiday Frolic and Snow Park, that is, complete with snow-sledding, a snow play area, ice skating, and a visit with Santa. The City of Martinez will round out the festivities with the Holiday Light Parade, complete with jumpers, face painting, crafts, and more on Main St. The parade is free, and the other family-friendly events are affordable.
WHAT’S THE DEAL: Free/cheap Martinez Light Parade & Holiday Frolic, Snow Park, Ice Skating.
- Holiday Light Parade – Fri., Dec. 4, 2009, 6:30pm. FREE.
- Snow Park - Dec 4, 5 & 6. Downhill Sled Rides -$3 each or 4 for $10; 3-day weekend pass $20 (includes Friday Ice Skating).
- Snow Play Area – Dec 4, 5 & 6. Kids 5 years and under $3 – 15 minute.
- Ice Skating – Dec. 4 only, 11am-9pm. Kids: $4 • Adults $6; $2 skate rental, FREE with weekend Snow Park Pass.
