If you haven’t been to the Half Moon Bay Citywide Garage Sale, go this year (September 24, 2011) and get some great deals on just about everything you can imagine. More than 100 Coastsiders sell their gently used goods at this 11-year-old event.
Bring cash. Also, don’t expect to find centralized locations set up for restrooms or food vendors for shoppers. This is just like any other garage sale, only bigger.
Detailed maps showing items for sale and locations of sales will be made available at various locations around HMB. Also, the website says they’ll update the garage sale online map just prior to the event, which will include sellers’ sale item categories and descriptions of notable items.
WHAT: The 12th Annual Half Moon Bay Citywide Garage Sale and Goodwill Donation Event is Free.

SAVVY TIP: Check out the new City Hall Parking Lot Group Sale, located behind 501 Main Street, entrance on Johnston Street.
