Fremont Festival of the Arts: Free

The Fremont Festival of the Arts (August 4 — 5, 2012) is a free event that features more than 700 artisan booths, live music on three stages, “Kid City” area for children, and a Gourmet Marketplace. They call the east Bay event “the largest free street festival west of the Mississippi River.”

WHAT’S THE DEAL: The 2012 Fremont Festival of the Arts is free.

WHEN: August 4 — 5, 2012, 10am – 6pm.

WHERE: Paseo Padre Parkway, between Mowry and Walnut Avenues, Fremont, CA.

CHEAP TIP: There is no official parking lot for the Fremont Festival of the Arts, except for the Wine Garden preferred spots. You can find free parking around the festival area. Some lots may be closed to Festival attendees, and local businesses may charge for parking in their parking lots.
