Adore books and the occasional free thought? Then take it to the streets … of San Francisco, that is, at the 16th Annual Bay Area Anarchist Bookfair in Golden Gate Park (March 31 – April 1, 2012). While this particular book fair is sooo San Francisco, it attracts booksellers, distributors, independent presses and political groups from around the world.
Presented by Bound Together Anarchist Collective Bookstore, the Anarchist Book Fair is the place to pick the brains of progressive writers, artists, film makers, and the ubiquitous left coast media fringe. You can listen to rants, speeches and panel discussions, or just people-watch and pick up propaganda. (You won’t find these t-shirts at Walmart.)
WHAT’S THE DEAL: 16th Annual Bay Area Anarchist BookFair is FREE for all free thinkers and cheapskates. (And anybody else.)
