Coyote Point Museum is now CuriOdyssey. Don’t worry, you can still take the kids to find out all the cool things about science — only more so — and the free days remain.
The kid-friendly environmental science and wildlife center houses more than 50 non-releasable animals native to the area, along with many other creatures and curiosities. Show up Tuesday through Sunday around 1pm and you can watch the new young bobcats chow down on bobcat delicacies. Or watch the otter feeding at 12:30pm any day. No matter when you visit, you can enjoy live animal encounters and cutting-edge hands-on exhibits, a 4,000 square foot aviary, honeybee exhibition, hummingbird garden and butterfly habitat.
For loftier animal attraction, stroll along a brook for a birds-eye view of the newly refurbished 4,000 square foot aviary, walk through an enlarged honeycomb into a new honeybee exhibition, and enjoy a hummingbird garden and butterfly habitat.
