City Running Tours officially opens in San Francisco. To kick things off, they’re offering a complimentary San Francisco running tour on Sunday March 14, 2010 at 10am. Running tours are a unique way for runners to explore hidden parts of the city on foot with a trained runner-guide. Already in several other cities like New York City, Chicago, Washington, DC, Charleston and Austin, this Sunday’s run is the tour company’s first foray into San Francisco.
The regular price of the running tours starts at $60 for the first six miles and $6 for each additional mile. If you live in SF, you could do the tour in your sleep. But if you live elsewhere are are planning a visit this weekend, try this tour while it’s free.
“This six mile running tour will start at The Ferry Building underneath the clock tower and will take runners along the waterfront at a moderate pace (about 9:30 per mile).”
