Cheap Eats in Calistoga

The Napa Valley Area is a notoriously expensive place to eat. But do a little sleuthing in Calistoga and you can eat a delicious lunch for $10 or less. Here are three for starters:

1.Buster’s Southern BBQ & Bakery. Order the barbeque and Buster may just prepare it for you on site where you can see him. Try the Tri-Tip (Sirloin Steak) sandwich for $7.50, and wash it down with one of Buster’s milkshakes or coffee drinks. You’ll leave full–and with full pockets, too. 1207 Foothill Boulevard,  Calistoga, CA. (707) 942-5605.

2. Calistoga Roastery. A friend recommends this place for their Veggie Head Sandwiches. They’ll all satisfy your addiction of choice: great coffee, beer, wine, internet access. 1426 Lincoln Ave, Calistoga, CA. (707) 942-5757.

3. Cal-Mart Deli. The only grocery stores here in Calistoga has a great deli. Order a sandwich to pick up and then go over to Pioneer Park for a picnic.  1491 Lincoln Ave. (707) 942-9686.
