Redwood City will host a Bicentenario celebration and parade in honor of Mexico’s Bicentennial. The festivities kick off with a parade. The main stage will feature live music from 4 different groups, and a community stage will showcase dancing, singing, and theatrical talent from local schools, churches and community groups. Plenty of family activities are planned, such as:
- Kids Hands-on Art Area
- Street Chalk Artists
- Dance Performers
- Mexican Food
- Authentic Craft Sellers
WHAT’S THE DEAL: The Bicentenario celebration and parade are free.
WHEN: Sunday, June 13, 2010. Parade 11am-12 noon; Festival 12-6pm.
WHERE: Courthouse Square, 2200 Broadway, Redwood City, CA (downtown).
