Berkeley is the place to be as world music artists, many from the Bay Area, gather for The 8th Annual Berkeley World Music Festival is a free event (Saturday, June 4, 2011). A continuous schedule of performances will take place in Telegraph Avenue cafes and shops, near UC campus, and in People’s Park. The Festival showcases the Bay Area region’s vibrant world music scene.
