You could go out and do something amazing around the San Francisco Bay every day and never do the same thing twice. That’s why it helps to know someone who will fish around for the best deals and then tell you about them.

Bay Area On The Cheap is all about finding fun things to do “on the cheap” in the not so cheap  San Francisco Bay Area. I started the blog in 2009, the year I got stuck with double house payments (caught like so many in the mortgage meltdown). This isn’t about saving a nickel at the dollar store. The way I look at it, cheap is the new green — relax, rethink, redeem.
